Pictures of tickets down memory lane
At some point, which unfortunately was way too late to have some of the better stubs, such as Janis Joplin; Jimmy Hendrix and Jim Morrison, all of whom I saw in their respective bands before their demise, I did start saving my tickets stubs from concerts that I attended, whether I remembered them or not. Besides these tickets that were originally saved by putting them into picture frames, I've also digiitzed, some of my favorite 45rpms (scatches and all) and can be found here, although I need to redo the cd name listing.
And then there were bands that I would see, not knowing who they were as second billings on a concert tour, such as Jethro Tull whom I saw with Led Zeppelin at the Earl Warren Show Grounds in San Barbara, 1969.
That concert was part of a larger event known as the Electric Yo Yo Man Story, and is a small novel in and of itself.
However, most of the stubs start in the 1970's and include many but probably no where nearly all of the concerts I've seen over my young experience. Below is, another image of yet more tickets, but that still is not all of them, just the ones that were put into picture frames of some sort.
